March 2, 2020 - Cleanup from Pearl River Flooding at Jackson Underway
We would like to thank everyone for their patience through this very difficult time for our facility. We will open this season, estimated time is still unknown, however after a very productive weekend and to some very close racing friends and family, we have made significant progress. Here’s a run down of just a few of the damages we incurred during the latest flood. Several feet of our cyclone perimeter fencing fell due to the strong current, we had 2’ of water in the main concession stand, 3’ of water in the payout booth, lots of trash was washed up, along with a lot of sand and debris, our biggest obstacle is 150’ of the backstretch wall fell. On behalf of owners Raymon McAlpin, Amanda McAlpin, and Joey Moak, we would like to thank Curt Fletcher, Sarah Fletcher, Jason Passon, Austin Rodgers, and Randy Rodgers for the help this weekend, and also the use of their equipment. This has been a learning experience and also has been a humbling experience. We look forward to a wonderful racing season once everything is properly repaired.

February 12, 2020 - All American Set for February 22 Cancelled

Once again, the Pearl River is expected to rise to well above flood stage in the coming days. With very few days without rain forecasted, Jackson Motor Speedway officials feel it is in the best interest of fans and race teams to cancel the event.

Jackson Motor Speedway greatly appreciates everyones support during these tough times. Please keep all those affected by the flooding in your thoughts and prayers.

Stay tuned for rescheduling details.
