Byram, MS – Sprint cars are back at Jackson Motor Speedway Saturday, June 27th with the 1st Annual 305 North South Shootout co-sanctioned by the Louisiana Bayou Sprinter Association and the Mid-South Sprint Association. This first of its kind unique event will pit the best 305 Sprint Car drivers in the South against each other in a 25-lap feature event sponsored by USA Pawn.

“We are excited about this event,” commented Brian Jones with Jackson Motor Speedway. “It’s no secret the fans in Central Mississippi love some sprint car racing and we have been working hard with the guys of the MSCA and the LBS to insure that this event will be the beginning of a long standing relationship with the 305 sprint guys and hopefully grow this event bigger and better over the years.” There is a stout field of drivers from the North expected to be on hand to include 2014 MSCA points champion Brad Bowden of Hernando, MS and current MSCA point’s leader Tyler Whatley of West Memphis, AR.  Some of the other MSCA 305 Sprint drivers expected to be on hand are Ronny Howard of Nesbit, MS, Greg Fritts of Red Banks, MS, Tyler Vaughn of Bono, AR, and many, many more. But the boys of the Louisiana Bayou Sprinter Association are ready and prepared to defend the South. Eunice, LA driver Ty Johnson will be on hand along with other Louisiana drivers Blake Carrier, Lane Whittington, Shane Morgan, Cody Robbins, Asa Williamson, Tommy Johnson, and many more. The question is asked: Who will take the win – The Northern MSCA boys or the Southern LBS boys? You will have to be at Jackson Motor Speedway Saturday night June 27th to see who comes out on top.
