Lucas Oil Series Returns to JMS.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Series makes its long awaited return to Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, MS on Saturday night April 11th for a huge $12,000 to win event. The Lucas Oil Series last and only previous visit to the track was in April 2012. Mother Nature has caused cancellations of the event the last two years.

The last visit saw Indiana’s Don O’Neal take the win with Tennessee driver Jimmy Owens finishing a strong …2nd. Both of those drivers are expected back along with drivers such as Scott Bloomquist, Jared Landers, Eddie Carrier Jr,  Earl Pearson Jr, Chris Brown, Steve Francis, Dennis Erb Jr, Billy Moyer Jr, Stormy Scott, and more of the nations best as they go toe to toe with the always tough MIssissippi drivers such as Bub McCool, Jimmy and Jason Cliburn, Rick and Brian Rickman, Henry Cooper, Chad Thrash, and more.

Other classes in action will be Nesmith Crate Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, Nesmith Street Stocks, and the all new Factory Stock class. This will also be the first race in this region this season for Nesmith Crate Late Model and Nesmith Street Stock points.

Pit gates will open at 2pm with Spectator gates opening at 4pm.

Spectator admission will be Adults $25, Seniors over 65 $15, Kids 7 – 12 $15, and kids 6 and under Free. Pit admission will be Adults $40, Kids 7 – 12 $25, Kids 6 and under Free.
