Hot! VETERAN FLAGMAN BARR JOINS JMS STAFF FOR 2012

Byram, MS – Don Cliburn, owner of Jackson Motor Speedway, is excited to announce that veteran flagman Stacy Barr has joined his staff for the 2012 race season. Barr boast an impressive resume that will bring great leadership to the Jackson Motor Speedway race day staff.

Barr is the son of legendary late model driver Johnny Barr and began flagging events in 1986 after his dad hung up his helment. Barr flagged the first 10 years of both the Magnolia State 100 and James King Memorial. He has flagged for the Rick’s Racing Series and for Magnolia Motor Speedway as well as various big events all over Mississippi, Louisiana and Tennessee.

“I’m excited about working at Jackson next year and I look forward to having a lot of fun,” commented Barr.
